FM14 Real Time Editor Available to Download at Steam
Only hours left until the release of Football Manager 2014! New this year is the release of the in-game editor which will be available for purchase at Steam at release day, and can be downloaded to your computer. The new Football Manager 2014 real time editor will cost €4.49 (£3.99) and will make you able to edit database information while playing Football Manager 2014.
The FM14 RTE is available for the traditional Career mode only and is a powerful tool, which allows you to do massive changes to the official database whether you’re starting a new game or loading up a saved one – without breaking the game! What’s even better is that Sports Interactive will have full support for the FM RTE, which is in difference to all the un-official ones.

How to use the FM14 RTE
As soon as the In-Game Editor is unlocked, you’ll see it added to the toolbar in the form of a spanner icon and clicking on that will give you a dropdown menu of all the options available for editing the page you’re currently viewing inside Football Manager 2014. You can use the In-Game Editor to change a range of information relating to players, staff and clubs similar to what you would do in the FM14 editor.
You will have a wide sort of different opportunities such as edit information and transfers of players, staff and even change vital information about clubs!
Edit Players and Staff in FM14 RTE
Editing player can be done as soon as you click on a player profile. By clicking ‘Start editing’ you can edit almost all the information on the profile screen, from their visible attributes to contract details and morale. You can also change their reputation, position, preferred moves, personal details and hidden attributes, including current and potential ability. This means that you can create your own Football Manager 2014 Wonderkids!
This means that you can easily turn all your lower league players into world class footballers! But it may be smart to stick close to their recommended current ability when editing as this will ensure that their attributes are balanced.
If you like to edit a player who are heading for retirement younger, you can do that by changing his birthdate. By removing injuries, bans and even unhappiness you can make your squad powerful enough for the upcoming match in a blink of an eye! Editing is very easy and can be done quickly!
This editing options are also available for you as the manager and the backroom staff in Football Manager 2014.
The FM14 RTE can be used to create instant transfers too! If you like to add a world class player or three to your team, all you have to do is go to their player profile profile and click ‘Move to my club’ on the In-Game Editor dropdown menu. It’s also possible to transfer players out of your team by clicking ‘Move to other club’, if that is what you wish.
This means that if you are struggling with a team that is expecting promotion you can simply boost your players’ stats up. Similarly, if you’re managing a team that is consistently dominating the domestic league, the in-game editor lets you add as much of an extra challenge to the game as you want! Making this to a very powerful tool!
Edit Clubs in FM14 RTE
You can also use the Football Manager 2014 Real time editor to edit club information such as changing their reputation, attendance levels, stadium and training facilities, tactical attributes and those all-important finances. This means that you can even give your club a Sugar Daddy Chairman and a higher transfer budget.
The new Football Manager 2014 In-Game Editor lets you tailor the gameworld so it suit you! The In-Game Editor opens up a wealth of new possibilities right from the day of release and adds even more longevity to your saved games.
Of course will you not be able to use the in-game editor to increase your points on the Steam Leaderboards, but can make the game even more fun!
