At the 14th of August 2013, Sports Interactive officially announced the release of Football Manager 2014. The official announcement revealed a staggering amount of over 1000 improvements and enhancements to the next version in the series. Football Manager 2014 will support Linux

As the news hit that FM13 was the best selling game in the series of Football Manager, Miles Jacobson quickly announced that FM 2014 will be launched to Linux with crossplay! This means that a single version of the game will be compatible with Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac, and the penguin-friendly Linux, as FM14 supports Ubuntu 12.04 (LTS). You can download Ubuntu here.

With the power of Steam you can play one single version of Football Manager 2014 on multiple machines.

New languages added – Greek and Brazilian Portuguese

Early in March 2013 Miles Jacobson announced that because of the amount of FM13 edition sold in Greece and Brazil, Sports Interactive will add Greek & Brazilian Portuguese languages into the future versions of Football Manager. Football Manager will then have a total of at least 15 different languages.

    It's nice that it will support Linux but thats a change that will effect a very small amount of players, feel there is plenty more they could/should focus on!
