FM Story | BV Borussia Dortmund - Options for success - November 2012

A part of my Football Manager 2013 story about BV Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund went through some big tests in October.
Despite some big losses I'm pleased, even though I wished my team would have done better.

With a new tactic, (Yes, I know I have almost changed my tactic for every match), I'm excited before the match against Fürth. November will be a more normal month, facing teams on the same level as me, or lower. There will be tight schedule, and with the loss of Pisczcek (out injured for 3 month), Denner will have to come in and prove he has the ability to perform at this level.

November will give you the opportunity to follow BVB Dortmund in the Bundesliga against title challenger Wolfsburg and Wolfsburg.

Personal goals for November
- Get 3 points in the Champions League (Benfica)
- Achieve a minimum of 10 points in the Bundesliga
- Keep up with the top three of the Bundesliga table - Currently 5th 4 points behind Mainz (nr 2).

Match preview
I felt pretty confident before this match because of change of the new tactic, which is better balanced. I have already done some test matches with the tactic and it creates more possession and shots. Fürth promoted to Bundesliga before the season and have had a good start to their league campaign, positioned in 14th place with 11 points. (10 points more than Hoffenheim at the bottom).

The performances of tonight can only be described with two words; control and creativity in passing. Dortmund had complete control of possession and pushed the opponent back to their own area, but it took some time before Dortmund managed to score.
